For all you guys with DSLRs, what do you store yours in? I'm looking around and not seeing much besides plain black backpack-style bags, and what I'm really looking for is one that's a messenger-style, big enough to hold the camera body, a couple extra lenses, flash, my P&S, and all the little accouterments that go with.
Any ideas for me? This is all I can come up with so far that might be OK...but dangit, a girl wants style! Not plain black vinyl!

There's
this:

($80.99)
and
this:

($75) which would fit into a messenger bag I've already got.
This one doesn't look too bad:

($32.00)
This certainly has lots of space!:

($52.95)
So anyway...how do you carry your SLR?

I just carry it in my diaper bag~ =P
I just carry it, I used to have a case but its gone lol
My dad used a case similar to the blue one you have posted for $32.00.
I like the last one, but wish it were in more stylish colors like hte green/tan one :)
i like the last one, too bad they don't come in more stylish/girly colors.
I have a camera case for it. I think the main thing with camera bags is don't order one online. Wait until you get your camera and than take it to a camera store and try the cases out. My camera bag isn't the cutest but it works so great with my camera and it will hold a couple more lenses when I get them. I know that it is tempting to order one online because there is such a great selection but you really don't want to do that one because it is such a personal thing it needs to work with you and how you are going to use your camera. If you order one it might not work how you really want it to or it might now fit just right. It took me two hours to pick out mine.....
Ok, that is my speel I hope that it helps.

If you don't like it for any reason, you can return it without a hassle.
I LOVE the one your dad posted...very colorful and stylish!!!
Good luck picking one!!!
Very pricey, but it's functional AND you can customize the cover!

I like the one your dad posted and I also really like the pink and green one- my computer showed it as pink it maybe tan.
Since it's hubby's camera...just a plain black camera bag. Sorry can't help much!
My work camera is like the one blue bag. It's not fancy, but it does it's job. I swear I've seen some more "form fitting" ones if that's what you want to call it.
My recommendations are either LowPro or Tamrac for brand. They are expensive, but worth it. They are extremely well made. I currently use a backpack, but I want a messenger style too. I recommend checking either Ritz Camera (where I got my knowledge) or B&H Photo. I agree to take your camera & accessories to the store with you when picking a bag, but then I'd go on line to see if you can find it cheaper. Don't be afraid to spend a lot of time in the store trying different bags until you get the right one. That's what I did! :)
Also, honestly (please don't be offended) but to carry the amount of stuff you're looking to carry (the essentials!) a messenger bag might be really big and bulky. Not saying that they all are, but most will be. Especially if you want lots o'padding (which to protect your investment, I'm sure you do!). Those last 2 will probably be way too small for the camera + at least 1 other lens & a flash, plus the cords and stuff!
Just trying to help ya out! :) Picking the bag is (for me) harder than picking the camera!
I hope that helps! :)
Crumplers come in awesome colors. They're pretty affordable and hold enough, I wanted one but I didn't want to order online and wait some more, lol.
I ended up getting a regular black Lowepro bag, and it works pretty well. :)
